May 2025 is shaping up to be an exhilarating month for Pokémon GO enthusiasts, packed with a variety of thrilling events and raid opportunities. The highlight of the month? The much-anticipated return of the Lake Trio to 5-Star Raids, available in different regions across the globe.
Kicking off the month, Tapu Fini will grace Five-Star raids from May 1st to May 12th. This legendary Pokémon brings along the powerful move Nature's Madness and offers a chance to encounter its Shiny form.
Following this, the Lake Trio makes a grand entrance starting May 12th. Depending on your location, you'll have the opportunity to encounter Uxie in the Asia-Pacific region, Mesprit in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, and Azelf in the Americas and Greenland.
As the Lake Trio exits the stage, Tapu Bulu takes over Five-Star Raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025, also featuring Nature's Madness and a Shiny variant.
For fans of Mega Raids, May offers an impressive lineup. Mega Houndoom will be available from May 1st to 12th, followed by Mega Gyarados from May 12th to 25th, and concluding with Mega Altaria from May 25th to June 3rd.
The month kicks off with the "Growing Up" event from May 2 to 7, and a special Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3rd. The "Crown Clash" event runs from May 10th to 18th, overlapping with the Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend on May 10th and 11th.
Community Day on May 11th promises excitement, though the featured Pokémon remains a mystery for now. "Crown Clash: Taken Over" takes place from May 14th to 18th, followed by a Shadow Raid Day on May 17th.
The "Final Strike: GO Battle Week" event spans from May 21st to 27th, and the May Community Day Classic is scheduled for May 24th. Wrapping up the month, a Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day is set for May 25, 2025.
