The age-old debate between Xbox's Forza and PlayStation's Gran Turismo has long fueled discussions among gaming enthusiasts. With console exclusivity often dictating choices, many gamers faced the dilemma of choosing one over the other. However, the tides are turning, and PlayStation users are now set to experience what the Forza franchise has to offer.
Exciting news has hit the gaming community: Forza Horizon 5 is making its way to the PS5. This monumental announcement was made via social media and is now featured with its own dedicated page on the PlayStation Store. PlayStation 5 owners won't have to wait long to dive into the action, with an expected release in the Spring of 2025, though an exact date is yet to be confirmed.
The porting of Forza Horizon 5 to PS5 is being handled by Panic Button, with support from Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games. Fans can rest assured that the PS5 version will match the content richness of its counterparts on other platforms, and it will also support cross-platform play, enhancing the gaming experience across different systems.
In addition to this exciting port, a free content update titled Horizon Realms is in the works for all platforms. This update promises to immerse members of the Horizon festival in a journey through beloved locations from Evolving Worlds, complete with some thrilling surprises.
