We want to bring to your attention an important update: the PlayStation Network (PSN) is currently experiencing an outage. According to Downdetector, the issue began at least as early as 3pm PST/6pm EST. The official PlayStation Network Service page confirms that all services, including sign-in, gaming, and access to the PlayStation Store, are currently unavailable.
Unfortunately, it's not yet known when PSN services will be restored, which means your weekend gaming plans might be affected. Popular titles like Marvel Rivals, Call of Duty, Fortnite, and others are impacted by this outage.
We will keep you updated on when services resume. In the meantime, it's worth noting that no other gaming platforms are reporting similar issues, indicating that the problem is specific to PSN.
