Excitement is building as the Punishing Gray Raven (PGR) x Devil May Cry 5 (DMC5) collaboration event gears up for its release on the China (CN) server. Announced during a special livestream on April 27, the crossover promises thrilling additions to the PGR universe. Scheduled to launch on May 22, this event will bring iconic DMC5 characters, Dante and Vergil, into PGR as new playable characters, along with a specially crafted collaboration story event.
The PGR x DMC5 collaboration was first teased during PGR's 5th anniversary livestream in late 2024, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect. Kuro Games has now confirmed the details, including the release date for the CN server. As of now, there is no information on whether the event will extend to other regions, leaving CN server players with a unique opportunity.
Free Dante Omniframe and Exclusive Gacha Banners
One of the highlights of the event is the chance for players to obtain a Dante Omniframe at no cost. By completing Chapter 6 of the collaboration story event, players can add this powerful frame to their arsenal. For those looking to expand their collection further, a Vergil Omniframe will be available through a limited-time event banner.
The event features four special rate-up banners: Dante Rate Up, Fate Dante Rate Up, Vergil Rate Up, and Fate Vergil Rate Up. During the event, players can take advantage of discounted pulls at 175 Black Cards per pull. An additional perk is the bonus duplicate system: for the first two pulls of either Dante or Vergil, players will receive an extra copy of the character via in-game mail. This means pulling one copy grants you an additional one, and pulling two copies results in receiving two more, making it an excellent opportunity to bolster your team.
Punishing Gray Raven is accessible on iOS and Android devices across five regions: China (CN), Taiwan (TW), Japan (JP), Korea (KR), and Global (GL). In an effort to streamline the gaming experience across these regions, Kuro Games announced in November 2024 a synchronization plan to align global servers with the CN server's updates. The goal is to complete this synchronization by the end of 2025, ensuring that all players can enjoy the latest content simultaneously.
