Respawn Entertainment, in collaboration with Bit Reactor—a studio founded by former XCOM developers—will unveil their new Star Wars tactical strategy game on April 19, 2025, during Star Wars Celebration in Japan. This highly anticipated announcement promises fans an exciting first look at the project.
Initially confirmed in 2022, details have been limited. Recent reports indicate the game utilizes Unreal Engine 5 and features turn-based combat, offering a deep tactical experience within the Star Wars universe.

Despite EA's earlier layoffs, developers reassured fans in March 2024 that development continues unaffected. The reveal will likely include key details and a gameplay trailer showcasing its visuals.
The official event website lists a developer panel hosted by Bit Reactor, Respawn Entertainment, and Lucasfilm Games on the Galaxy Stage, from 4:30 PM–5:30 PM local time. This session promises an exclusive first glimpse of this turn-based tactical adventure. Fans are encouraged to watch the live unveiling of this anticipated Star Wars game.
