Rockstar Games is bringing a major upgrade to Grand Theft Auto 5 on PC via Steam. The original game listing has been updated to reflect this change.
Steam users will now see two distinct entries: "Grand Theft Auto 5 Legacy" (the original version) and "Grand Theft Auto 5 Enhanced" (the upgraded version).
The "Enhanced" edition is available for pre-download on Steam, demanding approximately 91.69 GB of storage. This next-gen update, mirroring console improvements, launches March 4th.
Crucially, Rockstar is retaining the legacy version of GTA 5 and GTA Online. Players can choose to continue with the original or transition to the enhanced edition, boasting superior visuals and performance. The choice remains with the player.
