Current Price: $999.99 at Woot!
The Sapphire Nitro+ RX 7900 XTX stands out as the most expensive 7900 XTX GPU by MSRP, typically retailing at $1100—around $100 more than other models. However, the extra cost is justified by its superior build quality and advanced cooling system. The Nitro+ features a robust construction, predominantly made of metal, with a die-cast aluminum and magnesium alloy frame. A copper plate directly contacts the GPU core to facilitate heat transfer, which is then managed by a vapor chamber and a massive finned aluminum heatsink, cooled by three high-quality axial ball bearing fans. This cooling setup is among the best available, short of a dedicated liquid cooling solution, ensuring that the Nitro+ operates nearly silently. It outperforms its main Nvidia competitors, the RTX 4080/4080 Super/5070 Ti, in terms of both noise and temperature.
Out of the box, the Nitro+ is overclocked by 180MHz, delivering superior performance compared to the RTX 4080 and matching the RTX 4080 Super without relying on DLSS or ray tracing. To achieve similar acoustic and thermal performance with an Nvidia card, you'd need a premium model like the Asus ROG STRIX RTX 4080, which is scarce. The Nitro+ excels in high-fps 4K gaming and is robust enough to handle any current and upcoming games effortlessly.
This deal is even more appealing given the scarcity of the RTX 7900 XTX at retail prices elsewhere. Woot!'s availability of this model is surprising, and stock is expected to be limited, making the best 7900 XTX GPU also the most affordable option at the moment.
