Unlocking the Lost Galaxy in Astro Bot: A Comprehensive Guide to Finding All 10 Hidden Portals
Astro Bot Rescue Mission offers a wealth of exploration beyond its main levels. Ten hidden portals lead to the challenging Lost Galaxy, requiring players to discover cleverly concealed entrances throughout the game's worlds. This guide details the location and method for accessing each portal. Note that a swirling icon on the level select screen indicates a hidden portal within that stage.
Hidden Portal #1: Az-Tech Trail
Mid-level, locate a dark chamber with four lit torches surrounding a wall. Utilize the Twin-Frog Gloves to extinguish all four flames. This will reveal the portal.
Hidden Portal #2: Creamy Canyon
Early in the level, past a bouncing ladybug enemy, find a charging pig. Grab the pig, swing it towards an icy statue, and release it to shatter the statue. Backtrack, leap over the ladybug, and perform a charged spin attack on a higher platform to access the portal room.
Hidden Portal #3: Go-Go Archipelago
After defeating Captain Pincher, locate a glowing area near his embedded claw. Perform a charged spin attack to uncover a hidden chamber containing the portal and treasure.
Hidden Portal #4: Downsize Surprise
Towards the level's end, find a bubble-blowing frog. Blow into your controller to activate the bubbles, shrink, and ride a bubble to a higher branch. Jump to the opposite branch to discover the portal.

At the level's conclusion, locate a bounce pad near falling jewels. This leads to a hidden area with a trap. Find two hidden switches to open the pathway to the portal.

Obtain the pufferfish power-up. Backtrack to an early area with a ladybug enemy and a distant platform. Use the pufferfish and Astro's hover to reach the platform, then use motion controls to clear bamboo surrounding the portal. Activate it by circling its perimeter.

After defeating Djinny, climb the ruins, using Astro's hover to locate invisible platforms indicated by glowing ground sections. Ride a rug to a higher platform containing the portal.
Hidden Portal #10: Frozen Meal
Before the boss fight, roll a snowball into a large ball and use it as a platform to reach the cliffside, revealing the final portal.
