Despite the lingering chill of February, Pokémon GO is heating things up with its exciting new event, "Scattered to the Wind"! This event offers a fantastic opportunity to boost your gameplay and add some shiny new Pokémon to your collection.
Enjoy double XP for spinning PokéStops and a whopping 5x XP bonus for your first spin each day. Increase your daily gift limit to 40 (or 60 with the Eggs-pedition Access: February ticket) and seize the increased chance to encounter Shiny Pidgey.
But the excitement doesn't stop there! By pinning postcards from around the globe, you'll significantly increase your chances of encountering the shiny versions of Scatterbug, Petilil, and Vivillon. Plus, there are new Field Research Task rewards and a paid Timed Research to explore!
Embracing the Outdoors
Pokémon GO consistently encourages exploration with enticing rewards, leveraging the core concept of augmented reality. While new Pokémon are always a welcome addition, the event's emphasis on international postcard collecting might feel a bit unusual, as it focuses on connections with unknown players.
Don't miss out on this limited-time event, running from February 18th to 20th! Make the most of the increased XP, shiny encounters, and new rewards. And for an extra boost, check out our list of Pokémon GO promo codes!
