While it's a standalone title, the developers have integrated subtle nods to past games, as mentioned during the Silent Hill Transmission in March. The game shifts the setting from the 1990s USA of the original series to 1960s Japan, a significant departure. Despite this change, Konami assures fans that Silent Hill f will deliver the same psychological horror experience the series is renowned for.

Fans eager for more details on Silent Hill f won't have to wait much longer. The game will be featured in a panel at Anime Expo 2025. Anime Expo announced on Twitter (X) on May 21 that Konami's panel, "Unmasking SILENT HILL f," will include Producer Motoi Okamoto, Scriptwriter Ryukishi07, and Composer Akira Yamaoka.
The panel is scheduled for July 4, from 3:15 PM to 4:05 PM at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California. Tickets and panel registration are now available via Anime Expo's announcement. There has been no official word on whether the event will be livestreamed.
