Silent Hill f is a standalone game that is perfect for newcomers to the series. Dive in to discover how this game fits into the broader franchise and what to expect from its upcoming panel at Anime Expo 2025.
Silent Hill enthusiasts have been curious about the placement of Silent Hill f within the series' timeline. However, a tweet from Konami on Twitter (X) dated May 20 clarified that Silent Hill f stands independently from the main series, making it an excellent entry point for newcomers.
While it's a standalone title, the developers have integrated subtle nods to past games, as mentioned during the Silent Hill Transmission in March. The game shifts the setting from the 1990s USA of the original series to 1960s Japan, a significant departure. Despite this change, Konami assures fans that Silent Hill f will deliver the same psychological horror experience the series is renowned for.
Fans eager for more details on Silent Hill f won't have to wait much longer. The game will be featured in a panel at Anime Expo 2025. Anime Expo announced on Twitter (X) on May 21 that Konami's panel, "Unmasking SILENT HILL f," will include Producer Motoi Okamoto, Scriptwriter Ryukishi07, and Composer Akira Yamaoka.
The panel is scheduled for July 4, from 3:15 PM to 4:05 PM at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California. Tickets and panel registration are now available via Anime Expo's announcement. There has been no official word on whether the event will be livestreamed.
Konami has kept Silent Hill f's release date under wraps, but this event might offer fans a glimpse into when they can expect the next installment in this psychological survival horror franchise. Silent Hill f is currently available for wishlisting on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay updated with the latest news on Silent Hill f by clicking on our article below!
