No Return Mode Updates:
No Return mode receives two new playable characters: Bill (from The Last of Us Part I), a "Smuggler" with a custom pump shotgun and double rewards from dead drops, stronger against melee but unable to dodge; and Marlene, a "Risk Taker" with a custom assault rifle, "All or Nothing" gambits, and the ability to reroute her path once per run.

Four new maps join the fray: Overlook (a Seraphites encounter location), School (the abandoned elementary school), Streets (Hillcrest neighborhood), and Nest (Abby's Infected-infested building).

This new content (including new Trophies and bug fixes) arrives via a free 2.0.0 patch for PS5 and PC.
PSN Login Incentives:
Optional PSN login unlocks PlayStation overlay, PSN Trophies, 50 in-game points for bonus features, and an Ellie skin featuring Jordan A. Mun's jacket from Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. This skin is also unlockable on PS5 via the 2.0 patch and bonus points.

Neil Druckmann recently discussed Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, revealing its four-year development and its focus on faith and religion in an alternate historical timeline. The PC release of The Last of Us Part II Remastered precedes Season 2 of the HBO series, which will feature the return of spores.
