Geralt of Rivia's voice, familiar to fans of the Witcher games, returns in Netflix's latest animated adventure, Sirens of the Deep. This animated spin-off film, set during Season 1 of the Netflix series, features Doug Cockle reprising his iconic role.

IGN's Jarrod Jones notes in his review that while the pairing of Cockle's Geralt and Joey Batey's Jaskier holds appeal, its broader attraction might be limited to dedicated fans. Nevertheless, it offers a satisfying bridge to the eagerly anticipated Witcher 4.

About The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep

Based on Andrzej Sapkowski's short story "A Little Sacrifice," Sirens of the Deep fits chronologically between episodes 5 and 6 of Season 1 of the Netflix show. The official synopsis: Geralt investigates attacks in a coastal village, uncovering an ancient conflict between humans and sea creatures that threatens war. With the help of allies, he must solve the mystery before the situation escalates.

The Witcher Universe: A Quick Overview

The games' popularity led to numerous spin-offs and collaborations. The Witcher 4, with a new protagonist, was announced at the 2024 Game Awards. Netflix's live-action series, featuring Henry Cavill (Seasons 1-3) and Liam Hemsworth (Season 4 onwards), further expanded the franchise.
