Supergaming's Indus Hits 11M Pre-Registrations, Adds 4v4 Mode

Feb 21,2025 Author: Victoria

Indus, India's homegrown battle royale game, introduces a thrilling new 4v4 deathmatch mode. This addition follows another significant achievement: surpassing 11 million pre-registrations. However, a full release date remains unconfirmed, with the game currently in closed beta.

Supergaming's Indus, designed specifically for the Indian market, features a 4v4 deathmatch mode alongside improvements to its audio experience, including enhanced sound effects and music. These updates are available to closed beta participants.

Indus offers standard battle royale gameplay with innovative additions, such as a Grudge system rewarding players for engaging rivals. Initially announced in 2022, the game has undergone several beta phases, steadily expanding its features and attracting a growing player base, reflecting India's booming mobile gaming market.

While Indus's 11 million pre-registrations are impressive, the growth rate has slowed compared to previous milestones (reaching 10 million in March). Despite this, the continued interest is substantial.

We eagerly anticipate Indus's public launch. Although new features are appreciated, the speculated late 2023 release didn't materialize, raising hopes for a full release or public beta in 2024.
