RuneScape has just released an exciting Dev’s Diary for April, introducing the latest update, "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly." This thrilling new quest is now available and will run until April 28th. Players are tasked with surviving the Shifting Tombs and altering the fate of the desert alongside familiar characters Leela and Ozan.
The situation in the Kharidian desert is escalating, with Menaphos in a state of turmoil. Following Osman's shocking betrayal of his own people, the city is teetering on the brink of collapse. The populace is divided, and the sinister influence of Amascut looms ominously in the shadows. Escaping the Shifting Tombs is merely the start of the perilous journey ahead.
Fortunately, you won't be facing these challenges alone. Leela is back in action, and you'll be joined by new allies, including some delightful pets. Together, you'll delve into the ancient mysteries of Menaphos and attempt to unravel Osman's true intentions.
Successfully completing Pharaoh’s Folly comes with rewarding benefits. Players can earn Thieving and Agility XP, the prestigious title "The Rabble-Rouser," and a new item, Leela’s Favour bracelet. This bracelet offers the convenience of teleporting to various districts of Menaphos, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the shifting tombs, and all active soul obelisks.
The "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly" quest is not for the faint-hearted or the inexperienced. To embark on this adventure, you'll need a Slayer level of 87, completion of the initial quest "Beneath Scabaras’ Sands," and fulfillment of specific objectives from the "Do No Evil" quest within Phite Club. Additionally, you must have constructed the necessary structures in the Fort Forinthry storyline.
Once you meet these prerequisites, you can join Leela outside the gates of Menaphos and work together to save the city from its precarious fate. If you're ready to take on this challenge, download the game from the Google Play Store and embark on your journey back to the desert!
