Sword of Convallaria's Night Crimson Update: New Story, Characters, and Events

XD Inc. has unleashed the Night Crimson update for its popular tactical RPG, Sword of Convallaria. Millions have already downloaded the game since its July launch, and this expansion delivers a wealth of new content, including engaging events, rewarding challenges, and innovative gameplay mechanics.

Continuing the Spiral of Destinies campaign, the update introduces a captivating new storyline in Waverun City, featuring investigative clue wall gameplay. This unique mechanic blends tactical combat with detective work, requiring players to unravel mysteries and make crucial decisions. Players will be guided by Safiyyah, the strategic leader of the Mobile Squad.

Night Crimson also introduces SP Characters – alternate versions of existing characters boasting unique appearances and combat skills. SP Rawiyah arrives January 3rd, followed by SP Taair on January 17th. Unlocking these SP forms for characters you already own grants an exclusive SP skill, boosting the combat prowess of both the original and SP versions.

Beyond the new characters and quests, the Night Crimson events (running since December 20th) offer lucrative rewards. Complete these events to earn Secret Fates, legendary trinkets, and exclusive avatar frames. The Waverun Tournament, commencing January 3rd, allows players to exchange event points for special items, providing a significant advantage in future battles.

This update also offers a behind-the-scenes look at the game's development. Short developer messages provide insights into future plans, and a video message from Safiyyah's Japanese voice actor is included. A new theme song, "Never Apart," is also featured, with a Japanese version performed by Hikasa Yoko.
