NetherRealm and WB Games have released the official gameplay trailer for the T-1000, arriving in Mortal Kombat 1 next Tuesday. This liquid metal assassin offers a unique playstyle, creatively dodging projectiles with his shape-shifting abilities. Fans of Kabal, absent from this installment, will likely find much to appreciate in the T-1000's moveset, which incorporates some familiar weapons and techniques.
The trailer is packed with nods to Terminator 2: Judgment Day, including a recreation of the iconic finger-wagging scene (a gesture famously banned in the NBA!). The T-1000 even asks Johnny Cage if he's seen John Connor. Alongside the T-1000, the trailer also showcases Madam Bo, another upcoming addition to the roster. The T-1000's Fatality is particularly brutal, showcasing his ability to transform and replace his victim—a chillingly efficient end to his target.
