Timelie, the acclaimed indie puzzler from Urnique Studios, is making its way to mobile devices in 2025, courtesy of Snapbreak. Initially a PC success, this unique title offers a compelling blend of puzzle-solving and time manipulation.
Players control a young girl and her cat as they navigate a mysterious sci-fi environment, evading enemies using clever time-rewind mechanics. Success hinges on predicting enemy movements, making for strategic and engaging gameplay.
Timelie's minimalist visuals translate seamlessly to mobile, complementing its evocative soundtrack and heartfelt narrative. The game's design and atmosphere have already garnered significant praise.
A Niche Appeal?
While Timelie might not appeal to fans of high-octane action, its strategic gameplay, reminiscent of the Hitman and Deus Ex GO series, offers a rewarding experience for puzzle enthusiasts. The trial-and-error nature encourages experimentation and planning.
The increasing trend of indie titles transitioning to mobile platforms suggests a growing appreciation for diverse gaming experiences on mobile devices.
Timelie's mobile release is slated for 2025. In the meantime, check out our review of Mister Antonio, another cat-themed puzzler, for a similar feline-filled adventure.
