Tinkatink Debuts in Pokémon Go for Pokémon Horizons: Season 2 Celebration

May 14,2025 Author: Riley

The Horizons Celebration event is making a vibrant return to Pokémon Go, featuring the debut of the adorable and pink Tinkatink along with its evolutions, Tinkatuff and Tinkaton. This exciting event will run from April 16th to 22nd, bringing a splash of color and fun to your gameplay.

Tinkatink and its evolutions are not just eye-catching; they're functional too. Tinkaton, in particular, is known for its unique ability to launch rocks at Corviknight using its hammer. To evolve your Tinkatink all the way to Tinkaton, you’ll need to gather around 125 Candy throughout the event week.

In addition to Tinkatink's debut, the event introduces a delightful twist with Floragato donning a hat featuring Liko's pin. You can encounter this costumed Floragato in the wild, hatching from Eggs, and even in Raids. Keep your eyes peeled for a Shiny version of Floragato, as luck might be on your side. Other Pokémon like Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat and Charcadet may also make appearances.

The event also welcomes a host of Paldea favorites such as Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Pawmi roaming in the wild. Seven km Eggs will hatch familiar faces like Hatenna and Elekid, with a chance to hatch Tinkatink as well. Don't miss out on the snapshot surprises; characters from Horizons and their Pokémon might just photobomb your pictures.

On the battle front, Pikachu in Cap’s hat will feature the special move Volt Tackle. Raid battles will include Charizard, Metagross, Alolan Muk, and more Floragato. For those looking to maximize their rewards, Team Go Rocket balloons will appear more frequently, Egg hatch distances are reduced by half, and both Shiny encounter rates and Stardust rewards are increased.

Engage in Field Research and take advantage of both free and paid Timed Research opportunities, which offer additional rewards including an exclusive avatar pose. To prepare for the event, consider purchasing the Celebration Event Ultra Ticket Box from the Pokémon Go Web Store for $4.99 to enhance your experience.
