Gameloft is gearing up to launch the Disney Speedstorm Season 14 update, titled "No Toy Gets Left Behind," releasing on July 3rd across all platforms. As the name suggests, this season draws inspiration from the beloved Toy Story franchise.
Which Toy Story Characters Are Joining Disney Speedstorm Season 14?
Three exciting new racers are making their debut: Forky, Lotso, and Emperor Zurg. Forky serves as a Defender, transforming trash into protective barriers. His unique ability creates a swirling shield of debris that blocks incoming attacks - each successful defense grants him a temporary speed burst.
Forky's most remarkable move lets him leap from his kart and hurl himself forward. Any collision with rivals gives them a speed boost while propelling Forky further ahead in the race.
Lotso enters the competition as a Trickster character. His signature move, a powerful bear hug, slows down opponents and marks them. His follow-up roar applies additional slowdown effects, with the intensity scaling based on the number of marked racers.
Emperor Zurg joins the roster as a formidable Brawler. Capable of stunning competitors and collecting speed boosts, his ultimate attack launches explosive foam balls that disrupt multiple opponents simultaneously.
Season 14 also introduces several new crew members: Big Baby, Karen Beverly, Stretch, Chuckles, Bonnie, Twitch, Sparks, and others. Players can look forward to fresh Tales Events - limited-time challenges combining PvE and PvP elements with global rewards and leaderboards. Multiple events may run concurrently, offering daily prizes.
What Other Additions Can Players Expect?
The update brings free unlockable characters Buzz Lightyear and Bo Peep, along with newly enhanced Supercharged Racers including Hercules, Elsa, EVE, Stitch, and Goofy. The Nightmare Before Christmas Vault returns, featuring Jack Skellington, Sally, and Dr. Finkelstein.
Chip 'n Dale will arrive mid-season as special racers, though details remain scarce. Players can download Disney Speedstorm from the Google Play Store to join the Toy Story racing action.
