Still working on completing your card collection from the Celestial Guardians Expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, which launched just three weeks ago? Well, get ready—another set is already on the way. Called Extradimensional Crisis, this new expansion arrives on May 29 and introduces the wildly designed Ultra Beasts and the mysterious chimera Pokémon, Type: Null.
Extradimensional Crisis brings the Ultra Beasts into the mix—bizarre, alien-like Pokémon that played a major role in Pokémon Sun and Moon as interdimensional invaders. Confirmed cards include Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. You can also expect more Alola Pokémon to join those featured in Celestial Guardians, along with Type: Null—which suggests its evolution, Silvally, will likely appear as well.
A new expansion also means fresh cosmetic items up for grabs. Starting May 29, an Ultra Beast-themed binder cover will be available in exchange for shop tickets. Then, beginning June 11, a floral display board will be offered for event tickets during an upcoming Wonder Pick event.
Pokémon TCG Pocket has been steadily releasing expansions since its debut last year. While Extradimensional Crisis is considered a smaller booster set—offering just one type of booster pack instead of multiple—it follows closely after the previous releases. This marks the seventh expansion overall and the fourth smaller set alongside Mythical Island, Triumphant Light, and Shining Revelry. So far, no expansions have been retired, and all remain available in-game… for the time being.
