Umamusume: Pretty Derby Now Available in English

The much-anticipated English version of Umamusume: Pretty Derby is finally galloping towards its global release. Fans of this unique horse girls racing simulation can mark their calendars for June 26, 2025, when the game will be available on Steam, iOS, and Android. Developer Cygames made the exciting announcement on Twitter (X) on April 27, with pre-registrations opening the following day.

Originally launched in Japan on February 24, 2021, Umamusume: Pretty Derby offers a captivating narrative where legendary racehorses are reborn as "Umamusume" or "horse girls." These characters, resembling high school girls with equine traits, train at Tokyo's Tracen Academy to become renowned racers and idols. The game's immersive sports life simulation features an in-depth training system and stunning 3D graphics, allowing players to scout and train over 20 different Umamusume, compete in races, and showcase their talents.

The Japanese version of Umamusume: Pretty Derby has already achieved remarkable success, generating over $2.5 billion in mobile revenue within four years, as reported by PocketGamer.biz in March 2025. Cygames aims to replicate this triumph on a global scale with the English release.
