Marvel Rivals' Spring Festival event, Fortune & Colors, is showering players with free rewards, the most coveted being the Star-Lord outfit. This guide details how to obtain this coveted skin without spending a dime.
The event utilizes an in-game currency called Danqing (represented by a paintbrush icon). Danqing is earned by completing challenges in the new Clash of Dancing Lions mode, as well as Quick Play and Competitive matches. While standard challenges rotate, event quests remain consistent. Currently available Fortune & Colors quests include:
Accumulating 900 Danqing unlocks the free Star-Lord Lion's Mane skin. While this may seem substantial, the event runs until February 14th, providing ample time to complete the necessary challenges.
Players hesitant to grind for Danqing can still experience the Star-Lord skin. Clash of Dancing Lions, a Rocket League-inspired mode, features Star-Lord, Black Widow, and Iron Fist (all with Spring Festival skins) as playable characters. Participating in this mode grants temporary access to their limited-time skins.
For those wanting to permanently add the Black Widow Lion's Heartbeat and Iron Fist Lion's Gaze skins to their collection, the in-game store offers a Dancing Lions bundle for 2,800 Units (approximately $20). This represents significant savings compared to purchasing the skins individually.
