Unlocking the Fire Seal in Fields of Mistria: A Guide

May 25,2025 Author: Bella

Following the March 10 update in *Fields of Mistria*, you can finally access the Fire Seal after clearing the previous altars. To unlock it, you'll need to gather four specific items: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Here's a detailed guide on how to obtain each item and successfully unlock the Fire Seal.

Where to Find Faceted Rock Gem in Fields of Mistria

Player finds a Faceted Rock Gem in the mines in Fields of MistriaScreenshot by The Escapist The Faceted Rock Gem is a rare artifact located within the mines of *Fields of Mistria*. Ensure you're running the latest version of the game and navigate through the mines until you reach Floors 50-59. We discovered the gem on Floor 56 after some diligent digging. To unearth this gem, use your pickaxe or shovel on the marked areas on the ground. Be prepared for a bit of a grind as this item isn't common.

Where to Find Rockroot in Fields of Mistria

Player finds Rockroot in the mines in Fields of MistriaScreenshot by The Escapist Rockroot is a more common forageable item found between Floors 50-59 in the mines. If you've been exploring the mines regularly, you might already have it. Look for a dark, root-like plant as shown above. You'll only need one to satisfy the Priestess' altar requirements.

Where to Find Emerald in Fields of Mistria

Player locates Emerald in storage in Fields of MistriaScreenshot by The Escapist Emeralds are relatively easy to find among the offerings for the Fire Seal. They can be mined from geodes on Floors 50-59, and they're quite common. If you haven't kept any in storage, you'll find them quickly. Alternatively, you can break large boulders around Mistria or purchase them at Balor's Wagon for just 200 tesserae. With the March 2025 update, you can also craft Emeralds at the new Stone Refinery location if you prefer not to search for them.

How to Get the Sealing Scroll in Fields of Mistria

Balor asks for required items to pay for the Sealing Scroll in Fields of MistriaScreenshot by The Escapist The Sealing Scroll is the last item you need to break the Fire Seal. It's part of a quest that starts after you meet Juniper and discover the seal. You'll then recruit Balor to procure the scroll for you, but it requires payment. Here's what you need to gather:

  • x10 Silver Ingots
  • x10 Rubies
  • x10 Sapphires
  • x10 Emeralds

If you haven't collected these items yet, you can find them in the mines. Once you have the required materials, deposit them in the bin near Balor's Wagon to obtain the Sealing Scroll.

Unlocking the Fire Seal

With the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot in your inventory, return to Floor 60 of the mines to present your offerings. This action will unlock the Fire Seal, granting access to a new biome and more content during Early Access.

NOTE: *Fields of Mistria* is currently in Early Access, and the content may change. The information provided is accurate as of Version 0.13.0 and will be updated if necessary.

*Fields of Mistria* is available to play now in Steam Early Access.
