"The Wild Robot," DreamWorks Animation's latest offering and reportedly one of their last fully in-house animated films, is a captivating blend of technology and nature. Directed by Chris Sanders (known for "Lilo & Stitch" and "How to Train Your Dragon"), this adventure features an all-star voice cast including Lupita Nyong'o, Pedro Pascal, and Mark Hamill. IGN's review hails it as a "tear-jerking and unpredictable animated adventure."

The film has garnered significant awards buzz, receiving four Golden Globe nominations, ten Annie Award nominations (the most of any film this year), and an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature. A sequel is already in the works, with Sanders returning to the director's chair.

Synopsis:

Based on Peter Brown's novel, "The Wild Robot" follows Roz (ROZZUM unit 7134), a robot shipwrecked on a deserted island. She must adapt to the challenging environment, forming bonds with the island's animals and becoming a surrogate parent to an orphaned gosling.
