Verdansk's Back: Call of Duty Merch Hints at Next Week's Return
Mar 12,2025Author: Zoe
Get ready, Call of Duty Warzone fans! The much-anticipated return of the beloved Verdansk map is almost here. Activision's initial "spring 2025" announcement has finally yielded a concrete date: March 10, 2025. This confirmation comes via a pop-up on the Call of Duty shop, showcasing "The Verdansk Collection" and a countdown timer leading to the March 10th reveal (thanks to InsiderGaming for the heads-up).
A teaser image accompanying the announcement depicts a classic Verdansk scene: snow-capped mountains, pine trees, a dam, and a crashed plane—a nostalgic trip down memory lane for veteran players. This marks a significant return, especially considering the 2021 statement declaring the original Verdansk map permanently removed. Currently, the only way to experience this map is through Call of Duty Warzone Mobile.

Meanwhile, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 2 has launched, bringing five new multiplayer maps (Bounty, Dealership, Lifeline, Bullet, and Grind), the return of Gun Game, new weapons, operators, and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover event. Warzone, however, has received a scaled-back content update as the team focuses on bug fixes, gameplay tuning, and quality-of-life improvements.
