Want to relive your 2024 Snapchat memories? Snapchat's new 2024 Snap Recap feature makes it easy. Unlike detailed statistical recaps like Spotify Wrapped, Snap Recap offers a fun, curated slideshow of your year.
What is a Snap Recap?
New for 2024, Snap Recap compiles your Snapchat memories into a highlight reel. Instead of focusing on stats, it showcases a single Snap from each month, offering a nostalgic look back at your year. The recap seamlessly transitions into your Memories, allowing you to explore past events captured on Snapchat.
How to Access Your 2024 Snap Recap
Accessing your recap is simple! On the main camera screen, swipe up to open Memories. You'll find your 2024 Snap Recap prominently displayed as a highlighted video.
Tap the recap (avoiding the share icon) to begin. The slideshow plays automatically, featuring a selected Snap for each month. You can tap to advance through the memories at your own pace. Like any other Snap, you can save, edit, share, or even add it to your Story.
Why Don't I Have a Snap Recap?
If your 2024 Snap Recap isn't appearing, don't worry. Snapchat Support indicates a staggered rollout, so yours may not be ready yet. The number of saved Snaps plays a role; infrequent use might mean you won't receive a recap. Unfortunately, requesting a recap isn't currently possible.
