World of Warcraft Has Good News for Players Who Forgot to Spend Their Anniversary Event Currency

World of Warcraft's Patch 11.1 will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch's release.

The 20th-anniversary event, concluded on January 7th, allowed players to acquire Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing Tier 2 sets and anniversary collectibles. Any remaining tokens will now be converted to prevent wasted currency. Blizzard confirmed these tokens will not be used again.

This automatic conversion ensures players aren't left with unusable currency. While Patch 11.1 lacks an official release date, February 25th is a strong possibility, following Blizzard's recent update schedule and considering the ongoing in-game events. This means the conversion will likely happen after the second Turbulent Timeways event concludes.

Timewarped Badges, obtained through the conversion, are used in Timewalking events. These events offer various rewards, which will remain accessible, allowing players to save their badges for future use. Players are advised to log in after Patch 11.1 to claim their converted badges.
