The Temporary Fix: Raven Software, the developer, responded swiftly by temporarily suspending Skill Rating (SR) penalties and timeouts for players disconnecting before joining Ranked matches. This addresses player concerns about unfair punishments caused by the glitch. Penalties for leaving matches mid-game remain in effect.
Developer Response: The developers acknowledged the issue on January 6th and, while a complete fix isn't yet available, the temporary penalty suspension offers immediate relief. The ongoing issue highlights the challenges faced by the development team in maintaining a smooth gaming experience, especially given the game's recent major update in early January 2025. Players are eagerly awaiting a permanent solution to eliminate these frustrating crashes.
