Captain America returns to the big screen this week in his first solo film in nearly a decade. A mainstay of the MCU since Phase One, the character now leads Phase Five's Brave New World, fourteen years later. This marks the first Captain America movie without Chris Evans' Steve Rogers wielding the shield; Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie), inheriting the mantle at the end of Avengers: Endgame, takes center stage.
For those eager to refresh their memories or experience the full MCU Captain America saga before Brave New World, we've compiled a chronological list of his appearances in films and TV series.
Captain America plays a prominent role in eight MCU films and one TV series. While the character appears in over 20 films including non-MCU projects, this list focuses solely on MCU canon.
