Starting today, Amazon has slashed the price of the officially licensed WD Black C50 1TB Expansion Card for Xbox Series consoles to just $109.99, including shipping. This represents a significant 30% discount from its original $158 price tag, marking the lowest price we've seen for an officially licensed 1TB Xbox expansion card since Black Friday. Given the limited options available for Xbox storage upgrades, the WD Black C50 stands out as one of the best SSDs you can get for your console.
33% off from $157.99, now $109.99 at Amazon
The WD Black C50 expansion card is essentially a 1TB NVME SSD housed in a specialized shell designed for Xbox compatibility. Unlike the more involved process of installing an SSD in a PS5, which requires opening the console, the WD expansion card simply plugs into a dedicated port on the back of your Xbox. This card matches the speed of the internal SSD, ensuring no compromise on performance or increased load times, unlike what you might experience with a standard USB drive. With a 1TB expansion card, you can double the storage on your Xbox Series X and triple it on your Xbox Series S.
If you're in the market for an officially licensed storage solution, which we highly recommend, your choices are limited to either the WD or Seagate expansion cards. This makes it crucial to take advantage of a good deal when you see one.
