Styled to evoke the aesthetic of 1980s cinema, this project leverages the power of neural networks. The trailer features numerous recognizable characters from the Witcher universe, including Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss Merigold, Regis, Dijkstra, Priscilla, and others. While there are subtle alterations in their appearances, the characters remain easily identifiable.
Recently, the developers of The Witcher 3 hinted at the inclusion of a Triss wedding scene, originally conceived as the "Ashen Marriage" quest in Novigrad. The storyline depicts Triss developing feelings for Castello and her desire for a swift marriage. Geralt aids in the wedding preparations, tasks including ridding the canals of monsters, procuring alcohol, and selecting a wedding gift.
Interestingly, Triss's reaction is directly influenced by the gift chosen. Less elaborate gifts receive a lukewarm response, while a memory rose—a familiar item from The Witcher 2—elicits a powerful emotional response from her.
