Where Winds Meet first launched on PC in China at the end of 2024 and was ported to mobile in 2025. Set in the Ten Kingdoms Era amid a struggle between rival dynasties, the game casts you as a swordsman whose choices shape the outcome of the conflict. Heavily inspired by Wuxia, the Chinese literary genre that portrays ancient warriors with near-superhuman prowess.

In a Where Winds Meet preview from August 2023, we went hands-on, experiencing its blend of Zelda and The Witcher-style gameplay, along with its vast array of systems, decisions, and possibilities.

Sony is aiming to replicate the massive success of Black Myth Wukong, which launches on Xbox Series X and S this August—after its initial release on PC and PS5.
