Wings of Heroes, the World War II aerial combat title from Ten Square Games, has launched a significant update introducing a new Player vs Environment mode called Total Defence. This addition promises to elevate the game's intensity and entertainment value.
Total Defence Gameplay Details
Moving beyond the existing competitive modes like Dogfights (3v3 and 5v5), Domination, and Annihilation, players can now team up with two AI wingmen to protect vital ground installations against continuous enemy assaults.
This challenging new mode features ten increasingly difficult waves of adversaries, ranging from agile fighters to heavy bombers and special boss aircraft. Total Defence transforms the standard PvP formula by requiring strategic target prioritization and coordinated defensive tactics to safeguard key objectives.
Additional Game Enhancements
The update also introduces the Plane Mastery system, allowing pilots to specialize in specific aircraft and unlock distinctive achievements, including an exclusive black-and-gold Master Livery reward.
Significant improvements to the League system address player feedback, with seasonal rank preservation now implemented to create a more rewarding competitive experience.

Wings of Heroes offers an authentic WWII flight combat experience with a diverse fleet of aircraft, from nimble fighters to heavy bombers. Players can customize their planes with various armor and airframe upgrades for optimal performance.
