Zenless Zone Zero Leak Teases New Event for Version 1.5

A leaked Zenless Zone Zero update reveals a new Version 1.5 event featuring a Fall Guys-style multiplayer platformer game mode. This temporary event, tentatively titled "Grand Marcel," is expected to arrive alongside the late January release of Version 1.5, which also introduces characters Astra Yao and Evelyn.

Version 1.4, released in December, included two new playable characters and an S-Rank Bangboo, along with two permanent battle-focused modes. However, HoYoverse's history of incorporating temporary, diverse game modes into special events (like the current "Bangboo vs Ethereal" tower defense event) suggests this platformer is a temporary addition.

Leaker Palito shared screenshots showcasing stages reminiscent of Fall Guys. The mode's temporary nature, exclusive to the "Grand Marcel" event, is suggested, though the playable character (standard characters or Bangboo) remains unclear. Rewards are anticipated to include Polychromes and potentially additional free pulls, as previously rumored for Version 1.5.

This isn't HoYoverse's first foray into platformer events; Honkai Impact 3rd's 2022 "Midnight Chronicle" event employed a similar format using chibi character versions. Given the popularity of Bangboo in Zenless Zone Zero (featured in Hollow Zero), their inclusion in this event is a strong possibility.

Version 1.5, slated for January 22nd, will also introduce Astra Yao and Evelyn, along with potential additions like Nicole's first character skin and Ellen's Agent Story, as indicated by previous leaks.
