Upon its launch, Schedule I soared to the top of Steam's sales charts, outpacing major titles like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals. The game's viral success across social media, Twitch, and YouTube has drawn in countless players eager to climb from a small-time dealer to a drug empire kingpin in the gritty city of Hyland Point. Players can expand their operations by acquiring properties, businesses, and hiring employees.
Developed and published by the Australian indie developer TVGS, known as Tyler, the overwhelming success of Schedule I has been both "amazing but pretty overwhelming" for him. In a Reddit post, Tyler expressed his surprise at the game's reception and his focus on delivering patches quickly while planning future content updates once major bugs are resolved.
