Pawn Shop and 'Fancy Stuff' Added in Schedule I Update 0.3.4

May 19,2025 Author: Andrew

Independent developer Tyler has just rolled out the much-anticipated 0.3.4 update for Schedule I, a game that has taken the gaming community by storm. This update, following a short testing phase, has been detailed in the Steam patch notes, showcasing the new additions to this viral hit drug dealer simulator.

Schedule I burst onto the scene with its early access launch on Steam on March 24, quickly becoming a top-seller. The 0.3.4 update marks the first significant content expansion, introducing features such as a functional pawn shop, a boutique store, various wall decorations, and more, as outlined below.

In a recent Steam post, Tyler expressed his apologies for the delay in the update's release, stating, "I'm still ironing out the update/testing process." He reassured players that future updates would be more streamlined and timely, with larger monthly updates starting the following month.

Looking ahead, Tyler's focus is on addressing the remaining bugs, which he listed as top priorities:

  • Ensuring employees work consistently and without issues.
  • Preventing save games from becoming corrupted or disappearing. Tyler has collaborated with Valve to enhance the save file format, making it more compatible with Steam Cloud saves and less susceptible to corruption.
  • Reducing disconnections and loading problems in multiplayer mode.

Additionally, Tyler is working on optimizing the game and aims to achieve Steam Deck verification soon, which will serve as a performance benchmark.

For those eager to dive deeper into Schedule I, IGN's Schedule I guide is a comprehensive resource. It covers essential topics such as mixing recipes to maximize profits, accessing console commands, and the fastest way to engage in multiplayer co-op to conquer Hyland Point with friends.

PlaySchedule I was the top-selling game on Steam upon its launch, surpassing major titles like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals, thanks to its viral spread across social media, Twitch, and YouTube. In Schedule I, players start as a small-time dealer and rise to become a drug empire kingpin, managing the production and distribution of various substances in the gritty city of Hyland Point. Expansion involves acquiring properties, businesses, and hiring employees.

Developed and published by TVGS, the Australian indie developer Tyler, Schedule I's explosive launch has been described as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." Tyler shared his astonishment in a reddit post, saying, "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched."
