A new animated short showcases Astra Yao's past, highlighting her participation in a benefit concert following a devastating cavern collapse. Following a tense exchange with a reporter, the narrative shifts to reveal pivotal moments from her history.
Astra Yao features prominently in Zenless Zone Zero 1.5's initial character banner, with Evelyn Chevalier appearing in the subsequent banner.
The 1.5 update includes the customary miHoYo (HoYoverse) polychrome compensation. Players receive 300 polychromes for bug fixes and another 300 for technical improvements related to the update. These are distributed via in-game mail.
Agent Astra Yao (Air, Support), a new S-rank agent, is introduced. Beyond her singing career, Astra Yao is a formidable support agent. Her abilities restore ally HP and significantly boost damage output. Strategic use of her skills enhances attack chain initiation and quick assists, enabling devastating damage against enemies.
