A major French gaming website, Gamekult, inadvertently revealed the potential release date for the highly anticipated DOOM: The Dark Ages, a prequel to the modern DOOM games. Gamekult prematurely published an article announcing a May 15th release, quickly removing it but not before the information was captured in their RSS feed.

This leak corroborates earlier reports from insider NateTheHate, who also predicted a May release for DOOM: The Dark Ages. The convergence of these two sources strongly suggests a May launch window.
Microsoft is expected to officially unveil DOOM: The Dark Ages this Thursday during their Developer_Direct showcase. This medieval-themed prequel promises to retain the signature brutal, hellish action of the modern DOOM duology.
