Actor Thomas Jane's horror comic book series, The Lycan, is set to debut on Comixology Originals. IGN presents an exclusive preview of the first issue.

The Lycan, based on a story by Jane and screenwriter David James Kelly (Logan), features a script by Mike Carey (Lucifer, The Unwritten), art by Diego Yapur, colors by D.C. Alonso, and lettering by AndWorld Design. Tim Bradstreet (Punisher MAX, Hellblazer) provides the covers.
Comixology's synopsis for The Lycan #1:
1777: A seasoned group of big-game hunters, returning from Africa, are shipwrecked near a small British isle. To secure repairs and supplies, they agree to a perilous task for Lord Ludgate: hunt and eliminate the monstrous beasts terrorizing his people, including a convent of young nuns.
The Lycan #1 launches digitally on Tuesday, February 18th, exclusively on Comixology Originals. A print collection from Ablaze Comics will follow the completion of the series.
