Isekai: Slow Life – Earnings Guide

Mar 22,2025 Author: Sarah

In Isekai: Slow Life, efficient village management is crucial for progress. Gold fuels various activities, from educating students to climbing leaderboards, directly impacting your overall power and earnings. This guide details income maximization through building upgrades, hiring, Fellow assignments, and other mechanics. New players should consult the Isekai: Slow Life Beginner’s Guide first.

Understanding Village Earnings

Your village's gold-per-second generation determines your Village Earnings Rank Rush standing and overall game progress.

To check your earnings:

  1. Go to the Home screen.
  2. Tap the “i” icon next to your earnings (top left).
  3. View current and historical maximum earnings. (Note: The historical max only affects the Village Earnings Rank Rush event.)

Building Upgrades and Hiring Staff

Buildings are vital for gold generation, unlocking as you progress. Upgrading them increases earning potential.

Increasing Earnings Through Buildings:

  • Hire staff: Improves building efficiency.
  • Upgrade buildings: Raises the hiring cap.
  • Assign Fellows: Optimizes production.

Each building has limited staff slots, expanding as follows:

  • Slot 2: 50 employees hired.
  • Slot 3: 200 employees hired.
  • Slot 4: 800 employees hired.
  • Slot 5: 5,000 employees hired.

See the Fellow Power-Up Guide for efficient Fellow leveling. The Farmstead provides a +10% bonus per level to all buildings, making it a priority early-game upgrade.

Maximizing Family Gathering Bonuses

Each Family member's "Skill" section offers 36 gathering bonuses unlocked through intimacy.

Key Intimacy Levels for Earnings Bonuses:

100, 250, 550, 1,000, 2,000, and 5,000. Aim for at least level 550 on all Family members for a significant boost. Upgrading multiple members to 550 is generally more efficient than a few to 5,000.

Increasing village earnings requires strategic planning and consistent upgrades. Hiring staff, optimizing Fellow placement, leveling key structures, and completing challenges steadily increase income and leaderboard rankings.
