Get Ready for Dynamax Legendary Birds in Pokémon GO!
From January 20th to February 3rd, the legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres will appear in their Dynamax forms in Pokémon GO! This exciting event offers players a chance to encounter and capture these powerful Pokémon.
A Week-Long Appearance for Each Bird:
The Dynamax legendary birds will be available in five-star Max Raids at Power Spots. Each bird will debut on a Monday, with a full week of availability following their initial appearance:
Exclusive Timed Research:
A "Legendary Flight Timed Research" event will run concurrently, providing opportunities to catch Pokémon (including Shiny variants!), earn Candy, and collect Max Particles. The research periods are:
Victini Returns with Pokémon GO Tour: Unova!
The Pokémon GO Tour: Unova global event is also underway! All players receive a free Tour Pass on February 24th, 2025, at 10:00 AM, allowing them to earn Tour Points and rewards until March 2nd, 6:00 PM.
Upgrading to the Tour Pass Deluxe unlocks additional rewards and faster progression, including an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Victini and the Lucky Trinket. This new item lets you become Lucky Friends with another player for a single trade, guaranteeing a Lucky Pokémon with boosted stats and reduced power-up costs.
