RuneScape's New Group Ironman Mode: Team Up for Hardcore Co-op!
RuneScape has launched its highly anticipated Group Ironman mode! For RuneScape members, this challenging new mode offers a unique cooperative experience, tackling iconic quests, fierce boss battles, and a fresh set of team-based achievements.
What is Group Ironman Mode?
This mode allows groups of two to five friends to collaborate in a hardcore cooperative setting. While retaining many of the classic Ironman mode's restrictions, it offers a degree of flexibility for teamwork. Expect no Grand Exchange safety net, no external assistance, and no XP boosts. Success hinges entirely on collaboration, from resource gathering and crafting to skill development and combat.
Group Ironman players can enjoy specific minigames, Distractions and Diversions, and exclusive group content together. A new island, the Iron Enclave, serves as the central hub for Group Ironman players.
The Competitive Edge: Competitive Group Ironman
For those seeking an even greater challenge, RuneScape also introduces Competitive Group Ironman. This mode tests your group's self-reliance, prohibiting interaction with players outside your team. Several group-oriented activities are restricted, including:
