Sky: Children of the Light is brightening up 2025 with its vibrant new Season of Radiance update! This major update introduces a wealth of colourful content, most notably a Dye Workshop.
Thatgamecompany's all-ages MMO is getting a chromatic overhaul. The Season of Radiance delivers on colour customization, allowing players to reimagine their cosmetic items with a wide range of hues.
The centerpiece of the update is the Dye Workshop, located in the Aviary Village. The Radiance Guide will provide a comprehensive tutorial on dye usage and cosmetic recolouring.
But it's more than just superficial colour changes. Players will need to harvest new Dark Plants scattered throughout the kingdom to create dyes, and can even mix them to achieve unique shades. A variety of new cosmetics—hairstyles, capes, outfits, and more—will provide ample canvases for your creative dyeing experiments.
A Rainbow of Possibilities
The Season of Radiance begins January 20th. While the addition of a dye system might seem overdue, it promises a fresh layer of enjoyment for both veteran and new players.
