Every Party Member Joins in Metaphor: ReFantazio - Timeline Revealed

In Metaphor: ReFantazio, the protagonist's journey is enriched by the addition of seven unique party members who will join him at various points in the game, each bringing their own combat abilities and Archetypes. While Gallica is present from the start, she does not participate in battles to the same extent as the other members. It's important to note that each party member joins on specific days tied to story-related events, and knowing when these events occur can enhance your gameplay experience. Each Party Member & What Day They Join In Metaphor: ReFantazio

Each party member will awaken to their unique Archetype, which can then be utilized by other party members. Initially, some members join without immediate control, but this changes as they awaken to their Archetypes, ready to fight alongside you.

Storhl - Warrior

Storhl becomes the first to join your party on 6/5 during the Border Fort events. However, he won't awaken to his Archetype until the next day, 6/6, in the Nord Mines. Until his awakening, Storhl operates as an AI-controlled party member.

Grius

Following the Border Fort events, Grius joins the party but won't engage in battle until 6/6. After Storhl's awakening, you can assign an Archetype to Grius, turning him into a regular party member. Unlike others, Grius does not undergo a traditional awakening.

Hulkenberg - Knight

Hulkenberg begins interacting with your party on 6/10. She fully joins the party and awakens to her Archetype during the boss fight on the subsequent day, 6/11.

Heismay - Thief

In Martira, Heismay becomes your focus during free time, though the section is mostly linear. On 7/4, you'll witness Heismay's awakening in the town's main dungeon, after which he officially joins your party.

Junah - Masked Dancer

Junah appears throughout the game but won't join your party until her awakening on 8/13.

Eupha - Summoner

Eupha's inclusion in your party offers some flexibility. During your free time on Viraga Island between 8/19-9/4, completing the Dragon Temple Dungeon will see Eupha join for the final boss fight. However, you can only start her Bond after the deadline has passed.

Basilio - Berserker

During the events of Saint's Day on 9/11, Basilio awakens and joins the party. You won't be able to use him in combat until the following day, should you choose to do so.
